Confirm the break
Long: a bullish candle closes above the upper AMT level.
Short: a bearish candle closes below the lower AMT level.
SETUP / DERIVED FROM AMT ZONE
A standalone setup that uses AMT Zone levels, separate from the Reach and Reaction setup. Follow the levels populated at the regular trading hours (RTH) open, wait for a confirmed break, and let the checklist qualify the entry.
One trade per day for Zone Break. Once that trade is complete, this setup is done for the day, win or lose. This limit applies to Zone Break only.
Connect the checklist to the AMT: Zone study on your 5-minute Sierra Chart. Set the RTH start and end in your chart's time zone. The setup requires a valid AMT: Zone connection.
The upper and lower levels populate at the session open and remain fixed for the current session. The breakout can happen later in RTH; it does not have to be the first candle after the open.
Long: a bullish candle closes above the upper AMT level.
Short: a bearish candle closes below the lower AMT level.
After confirmation, price must be within the extension threshold or touch the broken level on a retest. A retest touch does not require a candle close.
The entry signal appears on the first update of the bar after qualification. A green arrow below the entry bar marks a long; a red arrow above marks a short.
Next-bar entry is measured from qualification. A confirmed breakout alone is not the entry signal. If no entry qualifies during RTH, there is no trade.
Set Allow Re-Entry Same Session to Off. After the trade ends, do not take another Zone Break entry that day, including after a stop-out. Enter the settings above for your market. The extension threshold controls entry qualification; it is not a profit target.
Entry Arrow Distance from Bar controls the visual spacing in ticks. The default is 4 ticks; changing it does not change the entry price.
For a long, place the stop below the broken AMT level. For a short, place it above. The selected stop distance is measured from that level, so the total entry-to-stop risk can differ.
The checklist uses detected support and resistance for targets. Missing targets fall back to 1R, 2R, and 3R, where R is the entry-to-stop distance.
Default scaling is half at PT1, a quarter at PT2, and a quarter at PT3. After PT1, the stop moves to the broken level. After PT2, it moves to PT1. Single-target exit modes are also available.
The checklist displays signals and modeled fills; it does not submit orders. Fees and slippage are not included, and intrabar results can differ from recalculated history.
