AMT Auction Flow
Multi-state candle coloring for dominance, exhaustion, and absorption
Colors price bars into six states based on rotational leg structure and cumulative leg delta analysis. Each bar is classified as strong (momentum), weakening (exhaustion), or absorption based on whether its delta confirms or opposes the current leg direction and how it compares to the leg's average delta.

The Concept
Traditional bar coloring shows bullish vs bearish. Auction Flow adds a third dimension — the quality of participation. Each bar is classified into one of six states that tell you whether the current move has momentum behind it, is showing signs of exhaustion, or is being actively absorbed by the other side. This gives you a real-time read on the health of a move without leaving the price chart.
How to Read It
Six color states tell you the story of each bar within its structural context.
- Strong Buy (bright blue) — momentum is building on the buy side
- Weakening Buy (medium blue) — buyers are still in control but fading
- Buy Absorption (dark blue) — passive sellers are absorbing aggressive buyers
- Strong Sell (bright red) — momentum is building on the sell side
- Weakening Sell (medium red) — sellers are still in control but fading
- Sell Absorption (dark red) — passive buyers are absorbing aggressive sellers
Practical Tips
Use ATR-Based rotation mode (default) so the swing detector adapts to current volatility. A sequence of Strong → Weakening → Absorption bars is the classic exhaustion-to-reversal pattern. All six colors are fully configurable. The study works on any chart type but is most meaningful on volume or tick charts where delta is reliable.

| 5 | Num Bars for Reversal | Minimum bars before a new reversal is confirmed. Default: 1. |
| 6 | Strong Buy Color | Color for bars with strong buy momentum. Default: Bright blue. |
| 7 | Weakening Buy Color | Color for bars with weakening buy conviction. Default: Medium blue. |
| 8 | Buy Absorption Color | Color for up-leg bars where sellers are absorbing. Default: Dark blue. |
| 9 | Strong Sell Color | Color for bars with strong sell momentum. Default: Bright red. |
| 10 | Weakening Sell Color | Color for bars with weakening sell conviction. Default: Medium red. |
| 11 | Sell Absorption Color | Color for down-leg bars where buyers are absorbing. Default: Dark red. |
| 12 | Neutral Color | Color for bars with no clear directional classification. Default: Gray. |
