What it shows
IB Extreme Order displays Initial Balance references and compares the order of the completed extremes with later price behavior.
How to read it
- Wait until the selected Initial Balance period is complete before interpreting the final extreme order.
- Compare the later break with the recorded context and no-break observations.
- Use the public research to examine the sample and its baseline comparison.
Settings that matter
Verify market, IB duration, and session times in the chart timezone. Choose the references, markers, and dashboard views you need. Keep any simulation settings separate from observed directional statistics.
An example to review
After the Initial Balance completes, review which extreme formed first and which boundary price later reaches or breaks. Compare that observation with the research definitions.
Illustrative reading example, not a recorded trade or performance claim.
What to keep in mind
Directional agreement is not a trade win rate. The published research includes a baseline comparison; simulated trade results depend on their assumptions and are not actual fills.
